How You can help

To fulfill InSpero’s vision, we need committed, “like-hearted” volunteers in the following areas.

Birmingham Connections/Media/Promotions: Find outlets to tell the InSpero story or to let people know about upcoming InSpero events.

Birmingham Bridge Builders: Participate in, connect, dream together for projects dealing with justice and reconciliation and healing in Birmingham.

Fundraising: Help in fundraising efforts and events, find and foster good relationships with potential donors, finding grants, etc.

Social Media Help: Update and post blogs on website and social media, provide “technical” help, post on Instagram, Facebook and twitter.

Prayer Team: Pray! Be on email prayer list to pray for InSpero throughout the year.

Shepherds: Help to mentor and build community among small groups of creatives.

Hospitality Team: Join our great group led by Ami Evans with Elizabeth Dortch and Christi Wilson to set the table, create beauty and warmth, offer home or venue for events, connect with people and build relationships.

Correspondence/Follow Up: Write and send thanks to those who help us and give donations.

Church Outreach Team: Network and communicate with area churches. Find, cultivate churches interested in collaborating with InSpero.

City Outreach Team: Network and communicate with various movements, organizations, city leaders, neighborhood organizations, etc. interested in collaborating with InSpero.

Event helpers: Volunteer for specific InSpero events, including greet, set up, clean up.

Data/Name Collection: Add names and information to our database.

Blog writers/contributors: Contribute articles, interviews, guest blog, photos, etc. to our InSpero website.

Art Show Installation/Take Down: Help to install and take down visual art shows, concerts, community events.
